Excuse my messy shelf.  If I was going to stay here for more than 3 months, I would have bought organizer boxes.
Anyways - I bought Christmas lights to cheer up my room!
I love the holiday season.

A group of us spent the day in London visiting museums for our latest Graphic Design Project.  We have to design navigational signage for one museum.  I picked The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology.

I love stuff like this. It just makes my day - I wouldn’t be able to buy a watermelon otherwise. It’s good they think about people living on their own.

I went shopping in Germany today.  Jackie had to work so I was alone, but it was nice to have some time to myself - not that I haven’t had tons of fun with Jackie. I just like to be alone sometimes.
But as I mentioned in my tweets, people kept on STARING at me.  It was the same when we hit the pubs on Saturday night.  Germans are distinctly German and even though I’m a 1/4 German you can’t tell.  Wow - I said German a lot.  Hence - I stick out quite a bit.
ALSO! Nearly every shop I went into I set off the store alarm.  Even before I had purchased stuff.  The worst part was my mental freak out when the shop people would come out to me and start talking in German and I only know how to say “hello,” “see you tomorrow,” and “bye”.  So I couldn’t even defend myself and I was praying I wouldn’t have to call Jackie at work from the police station say Come pick me up!

We did a pub crawl on Saturday night. Fun fun fun!
There was a great live acoustic set at the Irish Pub.  I actually knew most of the songs! I was so happy. It’s nice to get an unexpected touch of home when you least expect it.
